برخاسته‌ از مفاهیمی چون سادگی، تمرکز و بهره‌وری، بُن یک گروه تحقیق، طراحی و تولید است که از سال ۱۳۹۸ فعالیت خود را آغاز کرده است و بر آن است تا پیوند میان اشیاء فیزیکی و انسان را در دنیای دیجیتال تقویت کند. تمرکز بر جزئیات ساخت و ظرایف طراحی دفتر، از ویژگی‌هایی‌ است که بُن به آن شناخته شده است و شخصی‌سازی و بازطراحی محصولات، از خدمات دیگری است که برای پاسخ به نیازهای متنوع مخاطبان ارائه می‌دهد.

حضـور سادگی در محصـولات بُـن حاصـل تمرکز بـر روش‌هـای ساخت و همین‌طـور ذات خـود مواد در ساخت یک محصول اسـت. ســادگی بــرای مــا ابــزار برقراری تعادل در طراحــی اســت. تلاش می‌کنیم در تمام مراحل طراحی، انتخــاب متریال‌هــا، نحــوهٔ صحافی و اجــرا، انتخاب‌هایمــان را از فیلتــر ســادگی بگذرانیــم تــا نتیجــه کاربـردی و قابــل‌اعتمــاد باشــد. طراحی‌کردن برای ما میل به داشتن تعادل است. تعادل بین کارایی، زیبایی و ماندگاری.

Empowering Master Craftsmen

Basenotes products come to life with the help of the hands of skilled and native masters. Those who are the heirs of traditional bookbinding skills, but the change in the way of making paper products on a large scale of machine making and the spread of digital tools have prevented them from continuing to work in the previous way and also training students and future masters. It is for this reason that product design in its social dimension is very important for Basenotes. We are trying to share the knowledge and skills of this profession with future generations and ensure that these ancient skills continue to flourish.
